What this site stores

The site stores your light or dark theme preference and your measurement choice in your browser’s local storage. These preferences stay on your device until you clear them.

Optional Google Ads measurement

Google Ads measurement is off by default. The Google tag is loaded only if you select “Allow measurement” in the cookie banner. If allowed, Google may use cookies or similar technologies to measure visits and clicks from this site to the GoFundMe appeal. The site records a Donate-link click—not whether a donation was completed—and does not send Google a donor’s name, email address or donation amount.

If you select “No thanks”, the Google tag is not loaded and nothing is sent to Google by this measurement tool. You can change your choice at any time using “Privacy choices” in the footer. Read Google’s privacy policy ↗ for information about Google’s processing.

GoFundMe, sharing and server logs

Donations are handled by GoFundMe under its own privacy terms. Share buttons open the service you choose; copying a link does not send it anywhere. Like most websites, the hosting server keeps limited request logs that can include an IP address, browser information, requested page, date and time for security and reliability.
